In 1996 comic book dealer Matthew Hawes started COMICS UNLIMITED as a business located in Evansville, Indiana. For more than 18 years C.U. served the community through the brick and mortar shop, providing customers with fair prices and friendly service. During that time, C.U. began selling regularly on eBay and other sites, as well as setting up as a vendor at many conventions. In recent years, COMICS UNLIMITED has been a vendor at a couple of flea markets. Currently, C.U. continues to sell online where the business has earned a reputation for excellent customer service and great bargains, and continues to sell on occasion at various comic book and pop-culture conventions, and is a regular vendor at Cowboy Jim's Vendor Mall at 850 S green River Road, Evansville, Indiana 47715
